CYPRUS ECONOMICS & FINANCE OLYMPIAD (CEFO)
Manage Your Finances Smartly, Build Your Future Wisely.
ABOUT CYPRUS ECONOMICS & FINANCE OLYMPIAD (CEFO)
The Cyprus Economics and Finance Olympiad (CEFO) is a national competition for Lyceum students interested in Economics, Business and Finance.
Through a series of competitive phases, it challenges students to apply their knowledge, think creatively, solve problems and make sound decisions, ultimately selecting the five students who will represent Cyprus at the International Economics Olympiad (IEO).
BEYOND THE COMPETITION
BUILDING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE
Beyond selection, students build economic reasoning, financial literacy, analytical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork through three progressively harder phases.
The Olympiad is open to students in Lyceum Years 1–3 from public, private or technical schools across Cyprus, regardless of their academic orientation.
What matters is curiosity, clear thinking, good judgement and a willingness to challenge yourself.
