WHO CAN REGISTER
Who Registers?
Each student registers individually using the online form.
Teachers can encourage and help students to register and submit a group list for a school.
Parental Consent
For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign a consent and responsibility waiver confirming their understanding and acceptance of the competition’s terms and conditions.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
How to Register, Step by Step

| 01 | Check You’re Eligible | You must be a Lyceum student in Cyprus and under 20 on 30 June 2027. |
| 02 | Have Your Details Ready | Prepare the personal, school and contact information required for registration. |
| 03 | Complete the Online Form | Go to the registration form and complete every field. |
| 04 | Pay the Registration Fee | Pay the €10 fee [by card / bank transfer], or upload proof of eligibility for the fee exemption. |
| 05 | Submit and Check Your Email | You’ll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. |
| 06 | Receive Your Examination Details | About one week before Phase 1, you’ll receive your examination room, time and candidate number by email. |
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
What You'll Need
Before completing the online registration form, make sure you have the following information ready:
Full name, as shown on your identity card
Date of birth
School, class and academic orientation
Your email address and mobile number
A parent or guardian’s name, email address, phone number and consent (for students under 18)
Payment or proof of fee exemption (e.g. a large-family card or minimum guaranteed income certificate)

Exemptions apply to students from the following social categories, upon submission of valid supporting documentation during registration:
Students from families with three or more children.
Students from households receiving the minimum guaranteed income.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

Your registration is complete once you receive the confirmation email.
If it hasn’t arrived within 48 hours, check your spam folder, then contact fams.helpdesk@cut.ac.cy.
DATA PROTECTION AND CONSENT
Data Protection and Media Consent
All participants consent to the processing of their personal data by the Cyprus University of Technology, the International Economics Olympiad and their authorised partners, solely for purposes related to participation, administration and promotion of the competition.
During the competition, the organisers may film, photograph or record participants for documentation and promotional purposes.
Compliance with IEO Rules
All regulations and ethical guidelines established by the International Economics Olympiad apply to the national and local stages of the competition.
